Registration is now open and tickets on sale for induction of the 2026 Class into the James Madison Athletics Hall of Fame, to be held on Friday, Sept. 4 in the Atlantic Union Bank Center at 5:30 p.m. The event features social time, dinner and the formal ceremony celebrating seven former student-athletes as part of the 38th class to be inducted into the JMU Hall of Fame.

Jailyn Ford (2013-2016), volleyball right side hitter
Janey Goodman Wellons (2013-2016), baseball shortstop
David Herbek (2008-2011), men's soccer midfielder/defender
Kevin Knight (1995-1998), football quarterback
Vad Lee (2014-2015), football tight end
Ed Perry (1992-1996) and women's soccer forward
Therese Wolden Cooper (1995-1998).
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with an initial cocktail hour. Dinner and programming will begin at 6:30 p.m. Cocktail attire is required. Questions about the event can be directed to

Attendance at the event requires pre-registration, which is open now through Friday, August 21 at 5 p.m. ET. Individual tickets for the induction are $75 per person for adults or $35 for youth (12 and under) Registrants are requested to complete the information page completely, filling in all fields, including contact information, guest names and the option to indicate dietary restrictions.
Nominations for the JMU Athletics Hall of Fame
can be submitted online by any individual at any time. All candidates are considered according to the
Hall of Fame selection criteria.
