As a freshman: Second in 200 butterfly against Georgetown/ODU (2:13.66)... swam her best 50 freestyle time against Bucknell (25.02) and her best 100 butterfly time against Richmond (1:01.40)...  As a Freshman: 2007-08 CAA Commissioner’s Academic Award.  Before JMU:  Swam for Geoff Brown and NOVA of Virginia Aquatics... high school did not sponsor swimming... I love the location of JMU, the school spirit, the educational and athletic opportunities, and overall atmosphere of the campus.  What is your major? Speech Pathology  What do you enjoy most about JMU Swimming and Diving? The chance to swim at the collegiate level is what I am looking forward to most.  What are your goals for this season? To improve and be an asset to the team in anyway I can.  What is your pre-meet ritual and/or music? I like to listen to Christian music before I swim because it calms me down.  Who or what motivates you and why? Teammates motivate me because we are there to support and help each other. The want to be better also motivates me.  What are your favorite things about JMU? The school spirit!  What is your favorite place on campus?
