- Went 3-for-4 with a run and an RBI in a 7-5 losing effort to the College of Charleston [4/23]

2015 as a junior:
- Hit .216 with four RBI and six runs, all career highs for a season
- Only multi-hit game of the season came in a 2-5 outing in 9-5 loss to Delaware [4/5]
2014 as a sophomore:
- Picked up first hit of the season in Cornell finale
- Doubles as a replacement outfielder in Charleston
- First RBI of teh season registered with a double against Northeastern
2013 as a freshman:
- Led JMU with 19 substitute appearances
- JMU debut as late substitution in season opener at Coastal Carolina
- First JMU hit in Binghamton finale in only at bat
- Recorded hits in only at bat in consecutive games against VMI and UNCW
- Played as a member of the Herndon Braves in the Cal Ripken Collegiate Baseball League
Before JMU:
- Played for Justin Janis at Oakton High School in Oakton Va.
- Lettered in baseball all four years for the Cougars
- As a senior was a team co-captain and earned Concorde All-District honors
- During senior year lettered in indoor track and received Concorde All-District honors in the 4x200 relay, the long jump, the triple jump and the high jump, qualifying for the Northern Region finals
- As a junior helped his team become the Concorde District Champions for baseball
- Played club baseball for Bill Grossman and the NVTBL Stars
- As a member of the Stars helped lead them to the 18U Mid-Atlantic Tournament Championship in Pittsburgh
- Was a member of the 2011 gold medal North Commonwealth Team
- A member of his high school's art honor society
- Received Oakton High School's art department award
- Received the community service accommodation award in art at his high school
Personal:
- Son of April and Carson Carroll
- Graphic design major with a minor in studio art
- Enjoys sketching, painting, reading comic books, playing video games with his brothers and hanging out with his friends
- Father played collegiately at UC Irvine (1980, 1981) and was named an Honorable Mention All-American in 1981 by The Sporting News. He was drafted in 1981 by the Minnesota Twins and played seven years of professional baseball for the Twins, Yankees and Royals while being selected to three Minor League All-Star Games
- Mother, April "Bunny" Freud Carroll, played field hockey at the University of California and went on to train with the United States Field Hockey Squad in Colorado Springs. She was named a Mitchell & Ness USA All-American in 1984.
- Brother, Chad, also plays baseball for JMU
