As a senior: JMU Athletic Director Scholar-Athlete... played 35 minutes in goal in 8-1 win over Radford, faced four shots and allowed one goal... recorded first start of the season in 2-1 loss to Old Dominion.
As a junior: Made four appearances in goal... played almost eight shutout minutes and recorded one save in a 5-0 win over Delaware... shutout Virginia Commonwealth for twenty minutes and made two saves in a 4-0 victory... a member of a defense that finished the season with 11 shutouts, ranking second all-time in JMU history.... contributed to a team that finished first in the nation in goals against average and shutouts per game.
As a sophomore: Played seven shutout minutes in goal in 6-1 victory over Longwood.
As a freshman: Only appearance in goal came in four minutes during 5-0 shutout of Radford.
High school: Team captain as a senior. Posted 21 career shutouts in two seasons. Jamestown was state quarterfinalist 2003, Region I qualifier 2003, 2004, Bay Rivers District champion 2003 and district runner-up 2004. Her Norfolk Fury club team was National Indoor Under-19 Pool G Champions 2004. Also played softball four years, and was team captain as a junior and senior.

Why did you choose JMU? It had the best all-around appeal.
What are your goals for this year? Get my grades up, win the CAA, get a good internship
What is your major/minor and why did you choose it? Sports Management. It felt like a good fit for me... Sports and business are not a bad combo.
What are your favorite things to do off the field? Go to the beach, nap, watch movies, cook
What is your favorite field hockey moment? Probably the first year we won the CAA.
What is the best class you have taken at JMU? GISAT 112: Chemistry in Context
Where is your favorite place you have visited and where would you like to visit? Honestly? I’m kind of a country girl, so DC does it for me. I would like to visit my family’s castle in Sicily.
What is something that most people do not know about you? I was a red belt in Taekwondo when I was six.
What do you want to do after college? After college I would like to help promote and expand women’s professional soccer.
What is your most prized possession? My bed, but more importantly Beethoven.

Do you have any unique talents? Just being ridiculously good-looking... and an amazing driver.
What is the best advice you have received? Life is lived in the present. Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow is yet to be. Today is a miracle.
What advice would you give a prospective recruit? Try and get to know the team on your visit. They will become some of your closest friends over the next four years.
