Her uncle, Kurt Kimball, was an All-America lacrosse player at Maryland (1969-73) and also coached at Maryland (1974-77) when the Terps won the 1974 national championship. Another uncle, Terry Kimball, was also an All-America lacrosse player at Maryland (1975-79)
