Teammate as a Montrose senior with Division I signees Kevin Durrant (Texas), Greivis Vasquez (Maryland) and Taishi Ito (Portland). Averaged 12 points and seven rebounds.
Was the most valuable player in the 2005-06 Capital Classic after having 19 points and 11 rebounds.
Played two seasons at Montrose Christian after previously playing at Auburn (Ala.) High School
State champion in the high jump and runner-up in the 110-meter hurdles as a sophomore at Auburn High School.
