Garrett Sundra joins JMU with two seasons of eligibility remaining after spending the first two years of his career at Notre Dame. The Ashburn, Va., native played 52 games, including 16 starts, over his two seasons with the Fighting Irish, averaging 3.0 points and 2.5 rebounds.
Notre Dame (2025-26):
- Appeared in all 31 games, making 16 starts and averaging 17.9 minutes
- Averaged 3.5 points per game on 44.4 percent shooting.
- Shot 16-for-52 (30.8%) from three-point range.
- Season-high nine points against Detroit Mercy (Nov. 7).
Notre Dame (2024-25):
- Saw action in 21 games, averaging 9.3 minutes.
- Averaged 2.3 points and 1.5 rebounds on 53.3% shooting.
- Scored a career-high 11 points vs. SMU (Feb. 19)
- Grabbed a career-high eight rebounds vs. Le Moyne (12/22)
High School:
- 131st-ranked prospect by 247Sports.
- Sixth-ranked prospect in the state of Virginia by ESPN.
- Helped Paul VI Catholic (VA) go 31-4 and win the 2023 VISAA State Championship
