As a sophomore: Spring 2008 JMU Dean's List... tallied 11 matches with double-digit kills...totaled a season-high five digs against Ohio...tallied 10 kills against Davidson...had 11 kills against Connecticut...had five digs and four blocks in Dukes' victory over High Point...put up 12 kills against Charleston Southern...had a season-high five blocks against Elon...tallied 11 kills against Liberty to open a stretch of four straight double-digit matches...reached a season high of 16 kills against George Mason...put up three blocks and 15 kills in a win against Radford...at Towson had 14 kills...totaled five blocks against VCU...while playing Georgia State had four blocks and two assists...had an impressive 14 kills, five blocks and two assists against Northeastern...put up 10 kills against William & Mary...repeated with 10 kills in the CAA semifinals against Delaware.

Before JMU: Standout player for Rockbridge High School’s Wildcats... was named the team’s Most Valuable Player and All-Roanoke Timesland first team honors as a junior and senior... first-team All-Valley District as a senior and second-team selection as a junior... named RHS Rising Star as a sophomore... played for Roanoke Juniors Volleyball Club, 16’s Elite, 17’s National and 18’s National... selected for the 2006 Virginia High School League All-Star game... signed with the Dukes in the early period... first player from the Valley District to play for the Dukes since 1996.

Why did you choose JMU?
I chose JMU because I am very close with my family, and it is an hour away from my home. Also, because it is surrounded by beautiful farmland, and because I know that God has a purpose for me here, and this is where he wants me to be.

What do you enjoy most about JMU volleyball?
The privilege to play volleyball at such a high level, and being on such a hard working team.
What do you want to accomplish in the 2008 season?
To be the best that I can be giving all credit to Jesus Christ, and winning the 2008 CAA Championship.
What is your pre-game ritual?
I read the FCA athlete’s creed, pray, and then join in on the dance party with my team in the locker room.

Book: The Bible: God’s Word.
