Mike Karon joins the JMU Women's Basketball staff as the Video Coordinator in September 2018.

Karon joins the JMU staff after spending the last two seasons as the Director of Basketball Operations at Boston University. He was responsible for team budget along with all team travel scheduling for the Terriers. He served as an academic liaison between team members and academic advisors. Karon oversaw all video operations and supervised the video coordinator, while assisting the recruiting coordinator with recruiting operations, mailings and recruiting database. Â

Before that, Karon was the head student manager for the Dukes. He assisted the coaching staff with all aspects of practices along with film. Karon assisted with the travel logistics for away games and worked closely with the Director of Operations and front office staff to oversee team management. He was responsible for filming games and practices, while also being responsible for all film equipment.

Karon graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Recreation Management in 2016 with a minor in General Business.
