| GELLENTHIEN WINS NATIONAL ARCHERY CHAMPIONSHIP Gellenthien took first place with his score of 1,186 points from the U.S. Indoor East Region Championships, held March 11-13 at JMU's Godwin Hall. Results from that regional tournament were combined with results from around the country at other regional tournaments to determine national indoor finishes in the respective competition divisions. Second place went to Chris Glass of Other top finishers for the Dukes included freshman Jacob Wukie (Oak Harbor, Ohio/Fremont Ross), fifth in men's recurve (1,124); freshman Jessica Fasula (North Kingstown, R.I.), sixth in women's compound (1,127); and senior Stephanie Pylypchuk (Bloomfield, N.J./Bloomfield), seventh in women's recurve (1,077).
