FIVE ARCHERS NAMED TO USA ARCHERY ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM
HARRISONBURG, Va., June 8, 2005 -- Five members of the James Madison archery team have been named to the 2005 USA Archery All-Academic Team.
Honored were senior recurve-bow archer Stephanie Pylypchuk (Bloomfield, N.J./Bloomfield). freshman recurve-bow archer Jacob Wukie (Oak Harbor, Ohio/Fremont Ross) and freshman compound-bow archers Jessica Fasula (North Kingstown, R.I./St. Mary's Academy Bay View), Braden Gellenthien (Hudson, Mass./Hudson) and Jedd Greshock (Shenandoah, Pa./Shenandoah Valley).
To be eligible for the team, archers must finish in the top 25 percent of their division at the U.S. Indoor Championships and have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or better.
JMU led all schools with five archers selected. AtlanticCape, PennCollege and Texas A&M each had three archers honored.
