JMU (16-6, 10-3 CAA) defeated GSU (8-16, 4-9 CAA) by game scores of 30-20, 31-29, and 30-16. The Dukes ran their season-best winning streak to seven and also won for the 12th time in 13 matches.
Halls registered a team-high 19 kills and just two errors on 35 attacks for a .486 attack percentage. Stillwell had her fourth double-double of the season and first double-digit kills outing since Sept. 22.  She finished with 13 kills and a .458 percentage along with 10 digs, three service aces, and four assists. Sophomore Lauren Miles (Tampa, Fla./Tampa Prep) had 49 assists, seven digs, and six kills. She now ranks 10th at JMU for assists in a season with 1,062 and moved into sixth in career assists with 1,344. Junior libero Jena Pierson (San Antonio, Texas/James Madison) tallied 17 digs.
Junior Ana Paula Ferreira (Paranagua, Brazil/Colegio Ill Milenio) led the Panthers with 11 kills, seven digs, and a .318 attack percentage. Noelle Boyd (Arlington, Texas/Martin) had 33 assists and five digs. Sophomore Michelle Trimble (Decatur, Ga./Decatur) had eight kills and seven digs. Junior Amy Lusk (West Plains, Mo./Kalaheo) added seven kills and 14 digs.
JMU continues its four-match road swing next weekend with a 7 p.m. Friday night match at VCU and a 7 p.m. match Saturday at William and Mary.
