TAMPA, Fla., Sept. 20, 2008 ? Senior setter Lauren Miles (Tampa, Fla./Tampa Prep), playing in her hometown, had 40 assists, 14 digs, and four aces to lead James Madison past Harvard 3-1 in the Best Western Invitational hosted by South Florida.

JMU (5-9) defeated Harvard (1-7) by set scores of 25-18, 23-25, 25-21, and 25-19.

Miles recorded her fourth double-double of the season, adding three kills and two blocks. Sophomore Lindsay Callahan (Virginia Beach, Va./Landstown) had 16 kills while hitting .295 with eight digs. Senior Kelsey McNamara (Northbrook, Ill./Glenbrook North) had 14 kills and five digs. Senior Michelle Johnson (Los Gatos, Calif./Los Gatos) added 12 kills and sophomore Sofia Lindroth (Edwards, Colo./Battle Mountain) tallied 15 digs.

Sandra Fryhofer and Kathryn McKinley each had 10 kills for Harvard with McKinley adding 15 digs for the double-double. Katherine Kocurek posted 20 digs while Lily Durwood totaled 34 assists.

The Dukes will finish action in the Best Western Invitational at 7:30 p.m. against the host Bulls of USF.
