VerStandig's WSVA 550-AM, a powerful media member in Harrisonburg for more than 75 years, serves as the flagship station of the JMU/nTelos Sports Network. nTelos, the corporate sponsor of the network, is the leading provider of wireless and wireline communications services to consumers and businesses in Virginia and West Virginia.

The network includes radio affiliates throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia with air signals reaching into the neighboring states of North Carolina and West Virginia. WSVA is the originating station for all broadcasts of JMU football and men's basketball. WSVA provides coverage throughout the Shenandoah Valley region and into portions of eastern West Virginia.
