Our mission is to invite the friends of the University and JMU athletics to develop a relationship with our department. In the fulfillment of our mission, we strive to clearly demonstrate: The vision of JMU Athletics and the opportunities to invest in the betterment of our Student-Athletes.
Duke Club Practicum: The Duke Club practicum position will assist in the Duke Club Staff in all matters related to our mission of fundraising for student-athlete scholarships and the general operating budget. Specifically, the position will assist in the following areas:
- Assist in coordination and execution of Duke Club chapter events (e.g. tour events, golf tournaments, etc.)
- Prospect research
- Duke Club hospitality events for JMU home games
- Assist in coordination of mailings and calling programs related to fundraising
- Other duties as assigned

Duke Club Internship: The Duke Club Intern will assist in the Duke Club Staff in all matters related to our mission of fundraising for student-athlete scholarships and the general operating budget. Specifically, the position will assist in the following areas:
- Prepare and present fundraising ideas and activities
- Revitalize our Duke Club Web site with fresh ideas and user-friendly navigation
- Participate in game-day activities and donor cultivation
- Assist the Duke Club staff in day-to-day operations
- Assist with special-event support such as golf tournaments, auctions, dinner functions, etc.
- Work Monday - Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
