ROCK HILL, S.C. – James Madison cross country finished 23
rd at the NCAA Southeast Regional hosted by Winthrop University on Friday morning. NC State won regional, holding up to their regional ranking of No. 1.

RACE RECAP
- Averi Witt set a personal record 21:52.6 time in the 6K. This was her first 6K race under the 22-minute mark
- Grace Edison also set a personal best mark in the race coming in under 23 minutes with her 22:51.1 time.
- NC State claimed the NCAA Southeast Regional title with a team score of 70.
- Louisville's Dorcas Wasike won the NCAA Regional
- JMU was beaten by fellow CAA members William & Mary who finished 19th and Elon (22nd) but defeated College of Charleston who took 29th as the four members in the Southeast region

UP NEXT
The Dukes will look to defend their title at the ECAC Championship on Saturday, November 17 at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx, N.Y. The 5K is set to begin at 10 a.m.
