QUOTING COACH LAPORTE
"Wow, five wins in three days. I could not be more proud of this team and their grit and determination on the field. Starting the weekend with a ranked win over California and riding that momentum all the way through this evening was a great feeling. Our bats started off really strong, we still have things to tweak here and there to turn some of those pop ups and ground outs into base hits, but I am seeing progress in the right direction. Also I am so proud of Odicci and Payton who came out this weekend and pitched some of the best games they have ever had. We will take a few days to recover and enjoy Hawaii before our next tournament starts up midweek."
UP NEXT
The Dukes remain in Hawaii where they will compete in the Spring Fling Tournament starting on Wednesday, March 8 at 8:30 p.m. ET with a matchup against BYU.
