HARRISONBURG, Va. - The James Madison women's golf team will travel to the 2019 Colonial Athletic Association Women's Golf Championship this weekend, teeing off against its fellow league members this weekend, Friday-Sunday, April 12-14.

The tournament, where the Dukes will be seeded fourth, will close out the regular season prior to possible NCAA Regionals, scheduled at four sites on May 6-8, and NCAA Championships, set to be held on May 17-22 at Blessings Golf Club in Fayetteville, Ark.

The tournament will mark the regular-season finale for the Dukes' 2018-19 senior:
Katie Turk.

In four years at JMU, Turk has played 92 rounds for the Dukes across 32 tournaments. Earlier this season, she captured her first career CAA Golfer of the Week award, going undefeated in match play at the Ball State Sunshine Invitational and leading Dukes to the first of two consecutive team titles to open the spring of her senior season, which has seen her average a career-best 78.67. This week will mark Turk's fourth trip to the CAA Championships.
