Tom Judge adds another piece to his resume within the last week, being named to the 2020-21 MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List as United Soccer Coaches announced on Thursday afternoon. He was selected 36
th overall in the 2021 MLS Superdraft by Nashville SC last week.

The MAC Hermann Trophy is the top individual honor in college soccer and is presented annually to the top male and female players in the country.

Judge is one of 35 members of the preseason watch list, and is the lone Colonial Athletic Association student-athlete on the list. This is the second straight year JMU has had someone named to the watch list after
Manuel Ferriol was named to it in 2019.

The Freehold, N.J. native has been an anchor on the backline for the Dukes, leading the defense to eight shutouts last season which included a 1-0 win over then-No. 1 ranked Wake Forest and a double overtime 1-0 victory against UNCW for the 2019 CAA Championship. He has helped the Dukes to back-to-back CAA titles and NCAA Tournament appearances, including an appearance in the NCAA Quarterfinals in 2018.

The Dukes open up their season on Friday, February 19 when they travel to play Georgetown, who are the defending 2019 NCAA Champions.
