Kylie Moulin ranked #18 amongst the top singles players in the region.

The Dukes wrapped up their toughest campaign in program history with a 9-11 dual-match record after facing seven nationally-ranked opponents and competing in the ITA Kickoff Weekend for the first time ever. The Dukes did pick up a ranked win against #62 Michigan State in a neutral-site match.

Against regional foes, JMU went 4-5, with all five setbacks against teams ranked in the top six in the region.

Moulin is coming off a breakout season in which she led the Dukes in victories to earn First Team All-Colonial Athletic Association status. Playing primarily at the #2 singles spot, she went 20-5, including an 11-2 mark in dual matches. She also tallied a 20-13 doubles record, with a 10-10 ledger in dual play. She put together a season-best nine-match singles win streak and was named CAA Player of the Week and Doubles Team of the Week once apiece.

Virginia led the way in the ITA Atlantic region, as the Cavaliers were followed by #2 Old Dominion, #3 VCU, #4 Maryland, #5 Penn State, #6 Liberty, #7 William & Mary, #8 Delaware, #9 West Virginia and #10 JMU.

The Dukes get set for a new era in 2022-23, as they join the Sun Belt Conference on July 1. JMU faced off with three future conference opponents this past spring, going 2-1 with wins against Marshall and Coastal Carolina and a defeat by ODU.
