Quoting Head Coach Christy Morgan
"What was really powerful was we started out on fire," said Morgan. "We maintained the integrity of the unit the whole first half – probably one of the best halves a JMU team has played in a long time. It was a very connected style of hockey and we finished. The key to this team now is consistency. It's using this as the platform knowing that everybody adds value – whether you're in the game or not – you impacted the outcome of this game. Our hope is we continue to fight to be better, and we will."
