Schlickenrieder Named Academic All-District

GREENWOOD, Ind. - Senior Nick Schlickenrieder of the James Madison men's golf team has been named to the 2023 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Men's At-Large Team, the organization announced on Tuesday.

This past season, Schlickenrieder's final year with the Dukes, saw him play in all but one event for JMU, posting a scoring average of 74.54, fourth-lowest on the team. He closes his JMU career with 31 rounds of par or better, the ninth-most in program history.

Throughout his academic career, Schlickenrieder has been a mainstay on the Dean's List and has earned JMU Athletics Director's Scholar-Athlete in every semester in which he has been eligible.

With today's honor, Schlickenrieder will advance to the Academic All-America® ballot, the results of which will be unveiled by the CSC on June 21, 2023.
