GREENSBORO, N.C. – James Madison men's tennis opened its fall tournament season competing at the UNCG Fall Invitational, held at the UNCG Tennis Courts on Sept. 15-17.

The Dukes won a combined 18 matches on the weekend, going 8-4 in doubles play and 10-5 in singles matchups.

Aathreya Mahesh led the Dukes with five total wins, going 5-1 between doubles and singles, while the trio of
Julian Lozano,
Youssef Sadek and
Esteve Agusti each went 4-1.
Francisco Sinopoli also had a winning ledger, at 3-2.

In doubles play, the tandem of Agusti and Mahesh went 3-0, while Lozano and Sadek and
Edson Sanchez and Sinopoli were both 2-1.

Singles play was highlighted by Lozano and Sadek going 2-0, while Mahesh was 2-1 and both
Harrison Lee and
Mario Pena went 1-0.

The tournament was a hidden-dual format, with doubles play on Friday, followed by singles on Saturday and Sunday. Sunday's matches were cut short due to inclement weather.
