HARRISONBURG, Va. – The James Madison cheerleading squad is heading to Orlando, Fla. to compete in the 2024 Universal Cheerleaders Association College Nationals, which is being held at the Walt Disney Resort from Jan. 12-14.

The Dukes will take the floor on Friday, Jan. 12 at 1:10 p.m. in the AdventHealth Arena at the ESPN Wide World of Sports.

This is the second year that JMU will be competing at the FBS level in the Division IA Co-Ed Game Day category. There are 21 total teams in the category including the defending champions, Cincinnati.

First-year Head Coach Payton Young will be leading the squad and is assisted by Jenna Guenther.

The entirety of UCA College Nationals will be broadcast on Varsity TV with a subscription fee.
