HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison Head Coach
Steve Secord announced Friday that the men's tennis program has signed
Dennis Wiebe to a National Letter of Intent, and he will join the program in the 2024-25 season.
A native of Berlin, Germany, Wiebe is a one of the country's top players in his age group.

- Ranked in the top 160 of the German men's national rankings
- Was ranked #10 in his U18 age group in Germany
- Won several domestic tournaments in Germany
- Competes for Rot Weiß Berlin
- Led his team, DTV Hannover, to Regionalliga (third-highest league in Germany)
- Competed at both the U16 and U18 German Championships
Secord on Wiebe: "We are excited to have Dennis join our program and the University in the Fall. His game has been progressing significantly recently and should fit into collegiate tennis well. Dennis had heard a lot of positives about JMU and our team and can't wait to be a Duke!"
Wiebe is the second signee for the Dukes, as he joins
Zach Fleishman, who signed back in the fall.
