HARRISONBURG, Va. – Following a 71-57 victory at Massachusetts on Super Bowl Sunday to complete the MAC-SBC Challenge, James Madison women's basketball returns to Sun Belt Conference play with a Wednesday tilt against App State. The opening tip at Holmes Convocation Center is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. and will stream on ESPN+.
LAST TIME VS. THE MOUNTAINEERS
- JMU shot 47.6 percent (30-for-63) from the field and out-rebounded App State 43-28 for an 83-57 victory inside the Holmes Convocation Center on Feb. 22, 2025, to become outright Sun Belt Conference Regular Season Champions.Â
- JMU poured in 40 points in the paint and received 38 points from its bench to roll past the Mountaineers.Â
- Five Dukes scored in double figures, led by Peyton McDaniel with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Kseniia Kozlova finished with 13 points on 6-of-11 (.545) from the field, while Ro Scott added 13 points with two assists and two steals off the bench.
