Agusti and Sinopoli Garner Sun Belt Doubles Team the of Week Honor

NEW ORLEANS – James Madison's Esteve Agusti and Francisco Sinopoli were voted Sun Belt Conference Men's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week after a dominant win on court one last weekend.
The duo Esteve rolled to a 6-1 win over Longwood's #1 doubles team of Daniel Borisov and Timeo Puech, helping JMU clinch the doubles point. The LU duo had previously ranked as high as #61 nationally in early February.
Sinopoli also teamed with Grant Kroodsma Friday versus Hampton for a 6-1 win on court three, while Agusti led 5-3 on court two in that match with Gur Libal when it went unfinished.
This is the first career weekly award for both Agusti and Sinopoli.
JMU returns to action on Friday, Feb. 27 when it faces UNCG to open up a seven-match road trip. The action begins at 2 p.m. in Greensboro, N.C.
