- Earned the win in his JMU debut with one run allowed and three strikeouts in five innings vs. Binghamton

- 5 1/3 innings allowing two runs, one earned, as tough-luck loser with six strikeouts and just two hits allowed in second game vs. UNCW
- Most effective pitcher in JMU’s 20-19 CAA Tournament setback vs. William and Mary, allowing one run in three innings of work
Before JMU:
- Prior to officially joining the JMU squad, pitched for the Luray Wranglers in the Valley League during the summer of 2012, working a team-high 42 2/3 innings over nine games with seven starts while posting a 5.48 ERA and 29 strikeouts
- Played for Al Fricke at Hershey High School in Hershey Pa.
- As a senior, helped lead the Trojans to the PIAA Class AAA State runner up finish in 2010
- During his senior year of baseball was named Mid-Penn Keystone Division All-Star, a Dauphin County Legion All-Star
- As a junior was named Mid-Penn Keystone Division All-Star and a Dauphin County Legion All-Star
- As a sophomore was named a Patriot News Big 11 All-Underclassman
- Lettered in baseball all four years as well as his last three years lettering in football and first two years lettering in wrestling
- Played club baseball for Jeff Gergic and the Mid-State Mavericks
- A member of his high school's honor roll throughout high school
