As a senior: JMU President's List Fall 2009 and Dean's List Spring 2010... CAA Commissioner's Academic Award...JMU Athletic Director Scholar-Athlete... NFHCA National Academic Squad... finished tied for ninth in the CAA in defensive saves with two, both in the 3-2 win over Kent State... started 11 games for the Dukes and appeared in four others. As a junior: NFHCA National Academic Squad... JMU Athletic Director Scholar-Athlete... JMU President's List Fall 2008... JMU Dean's List Spring 2009... played in 17 games... scored her only goal of the season in the opening 6-1 victory over Saint Louis... recorded a shot on goal in the 1-0 win over Villanova... contributed to a defense that finished first in the nation in goals against average and shutouts per game... part of a defense that finished the season with 11 shutouts that ranked second all-time in JMU history. As a sophomore: Fall 2007 JMU Dean's List... CAA Commissioner's Academic Award... ZAG/NFHCA National Academic Squad... defensive save in the season opening 7-0 shutout against Georgetown... three shots this year against Saint Joseph's, Richmond, and Longwood.

High school and club: All-state first team, All-Tidewater first team, All-Tidewater Region first team and All-Beach District first team as a junior and senior. Team captain as a senior and team's best defender award as a junior. The Cavaliers were state champions her junior season, state runners-up her sophomore and senior seasons and played in first round of state tournament her freshman season. Participated in National Festival Indoor and Outdoor Tournaments twice and in U.S. Field Hockey Assocation’s National Futures Tournament once. All-Beach District honorable mention in soccer as a sophomore. National Honor Society member.

Why did you choose JMU? It is really pretty and it's not too far or too close from home.
What are your goals for this year? To comtinue to do well in school and just enjoy being my friends
What is your major/minor and why did you choose it? Psychology is my major and I am double minoring in HRD and Family Studies. I chose psychology because I just want to help people and make a difference in someone's life.
What are your favorite things to do off the field? Hang out with my friends and eat haha
What is your favorite field hockey moment? When Kelsey, Merel, and KO were sitting in the cage and the cage fell over with all of them in it.
What is the best class you have taken at JMU? Pscyhology of Child Abuse and Neglect
Where is your favorite place you have visited and where would you like to visit? Mexico was my favorite because that is the only place I have visited that is out of the country. I would love to go to Europe and travel around.
What is something that most people do not know about you? I am an awful speller.
What do you want to do after college? Go to grad school.
What is your most prized possession? A ring my sister gave me when I was 12 before she went to off to college.
