At JMU: Sat out 2006 as a freshman redshirt after joining the team as a walk-on... player the JMU staff hopes can provide CB depth and assist on special teams as he gains experience, said DB coach Joe Danna.
High School: Football and track standout at Bruton... as a senior was team MVP and all-district and all-area in football and a member of an all-state 4x400-meter relay team in track... honorable mention all-district in football as a junior.... twice all-district, all-region and all-state in track... member of three regional teams in basketball.
Personal: Business management major... cousin of former JMU standouts Tracy Harrod (1987-90) and Chris Parrott (1989-92).
