At JMU:  Likely starter at center in his second JMU season after previously playing at West Virginia... joined the JMU squad a year ago and worked as a reserve on the offensive line... gives the Dukes a veteran presence on the line but hasn’t gotten extensive JMU repetitions because of injuries, said offensive line coach Chris Malone... missed much of the spring practice period.
2008: Worked as an offensive line reserve during his first JMU season.
Before JMU: Reserve offensive lineman at West Virginia from 2005-07... two-time first-team all-district and all-region, second-team all-state and Washington Post All-Extra at Park View High School... state all-star game invitee... as a heavyweight wrestler was district champion and state runner-up and represented Virginia in the NHSCA Duals... shot put letterman.
Personal: Kinesiology major with a sports management concentration.
