At JMU: Third-year Duke who is expected to contend for the team’s punting position... demonstrated potential during the spring after being used in two games early last season, said kickers coach Clayton Matthews.
2008: Averaged 32.0 yards on nine punts while filling in for the injured Jason Pritchard early during the season... averaged 33.5 yards with a long punt of 41 yards on four attempts vs. Massachusetts and 30.8 yards with a long punt of 43 yards on five attempts vs. Appalachian State.
High School: Averaged 42.1 yards per punt as a Liberty senior ... had 22 touchbacks on kickoffs... two-time all-district and all-region and twice was second-team all-state... Washington Post all-metro first team as a punter and honorable mention as a placekicker as a senior... all-area by the Fredericksburg Free-Lance Star... goalkeeper standout in soccer and the first freshman starting goalkeeper in team history.
Personal: Computer science major... CAA all-academic honoree.
