At JMU: Second-year Duke who could contend for the team's punting position... showed potential during the spring practice period and could vie with returnees Matt Goff and Andy Smith for the starting spot, said kickers coach Clayton Matthews... also has worked as a receiver for the Dukes.
High School: Played on an 11-1 district title and regional runner-up team in 2007 and a district title team in 2005 at Lafayette... Lafayette's male student-athlete of the year as a senior... received all-state honors as a punter three times and was an all-district defensive back as a senior... three-time soccer all-district honoree.
