HARRISONBURG, Va., Nov. 8, 2009 In honor of Veterans Day, members of the James Madison administration, along with various community and state leaders, dedicated a new memorial in recognition of all veterans from Harrisonburg and Rockingham County who died in foreign wars.

The memorial is located next to JMU's Memorial Hall at the entrance to the new Veterans Memorial Park complex, featuring new state-of-the-art competition venues for JMU's varsity baseball and softball programs.
