On behalf of James Madison Athletics and our Sports Medicine office, I would like to personally welcome you to our campus for your program's upcoming competition. Our goal is to provide you with any information, assistance and support that you may need from a medical perspective during your visit to Harrisonburg and the Shenandoah Valley. JMU Sports Medicine Services

The James Madison Sports Medicine staff will make every effort to assist you during your visit. The following Athletic Training services will be available for your team:
- The use of an Athletic Training Room for taping and treatments
- A BOC Certified Athletic Trainer will be in attendance for each event
- The Team Physician will be in attendance OR on-call during the event
The following will be provided:
- Water
- Cups
- Injury ice & bags
- Emergency Equipment, including an AED
If your team will be traveling without a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer, we ask that you:
- Please notify us 48 hrs prior to your arrival on campus
- Please send any taping/wrapping supplies that your team requires
- Please send written permission and parameters for the use of modalities for each athlete requiring treatment
- Please review the appropriate Emergency Action Plan with the coaching staff
