RICHMOND, Va. – James Madison finished second at the 2016 Colonial Athletic Association Swimming and Diving Championships after completing the final events Saturday night at the Swim RVA Center.
The Dukes racked up 681.50 points over the course of the four-day championship meet that began on Wednesday, Feb. 24 combined with diving results from the previous weekend in Delaware. JMU's final total was 50 points behind first-place William & Mary.

Quinn MacMillan took home a gold medal with a time of 3:50.51 in the final event of the championship meet.Â
Zielinski also took third in the 100 freestyle, clocking a personal-best 50.10 seconds, just ahead of Czulada (50.13) in fourth.
SeniorÂ
Cameron Martin closed her JMU career with a fourth-place finish in the 200 butterfly with a personal-best time of 2:02.11.
After making a NCAA B cut time in the preliminaries (2:15.32), sophomore
 Katie Parker recorded a personal-best 2:13.16 in the 200 breaststroke, taking home a bronze medal.
JuniorÂ
MaryElizabeth Warhol won the bronze medal in the 200 backstroke with a NCAA B cut and new school record time of 1:58.24.

Claire Adkins took fifth in the 1650 freestyle with a time of 17:00.61 rounding out the top finishes for the Dukes.Â

 Camilla Czulada closed their team careers as Duke Dogs. In their four seasons at JMU, they have won a total of seventeen dual meets, including a first place finish at the West Virginia Invitational in the 2013-14 season. The closed the 2015-16 season undefeated in head-to-head competition with a 7-0 record. In four years, they have remained undefeated in CAA Pod Meets outscoring conference foes William & Mary, UNCW and Delaware 2,699.5 to 1,364.5, and earned seven first place finishes at the CAA Championships.Â
