QUOTING COACH PEDERSEN
"Overall, we are really happy to get a win against a conference opponent who is a very tough team to swim against. Northeastern has a lot of talent and they are going to win events and relays, which they did today, and that put a lot of pressure on us to perform well. It was nice to open up with a win and open the season at home, because we don't get that chance every year. I enjoyed watching all of our freshman compete collegiately for the first time today. You never really know what you have until you see them compete. The girls did a great job of supporting each other throughout the match and we had a lot of energy as a team. We did a lot of good things today but today also helped show us what we need to work on."Â
