MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – For the second consecutive day, two James Madison divers reached the finals at the West Virginia Invitational in the Aquatic Center at Mylan Park on Saturday afternoon.

Competing on the 1-meter board, junior Sarah Stim tallied a 241.60 mark for a fifth-place finish while senior Hope Byrum finished in 7th with 228.45. Stim was the only diver to reach the finals for both events.

Freshman Lindsey Hammar finished 10th with a score of 226.15 and junior Emily Gross followed in 11th at 222.30. Junior Sami Ullman and freshman Felicity Ryan finished 19th and 20th, respectively.

Divers will take off the month of December and be back in action during their training trip, competing in the FIU Sprint Invite at 10 a.m. in Miami, Fla. on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2020.
