The James Madison Dukes (3-4) end their three-game away stretch in Chapel Hill, N.C. as they take on the undefeated Tar Heels (7-0) on Sunday, Dec. 5 at 2 p.m.
The Dukes arrive at Carmichael Arena following a 54-50 loss at George Washington on Thursday, Dec. 2.
Kiki Jefferson led the Dukes with 20 points while Jaylin Carodine pulled down 12 rebounds to lead JMU on the boards.
Jefferson is JMU's leading scorer with 19.6 points per night. The guard adds 6.6 rebounds per outing.
Jefferson currently ranks sixth in the country in made free throws, totaling 45 on the year. She is shooting 86.5% from the line.
Carodine is the top rebounder for the Dukes, pulling down 7.4 boards per game.
JMU is struggling from three-point range thus far this season, shooting just 20.7%.
The Dukes have lost their last two games and have yet to win a road contest this season.
 SCOUTING THE TAR HEELS
North Carolina enters Sunday's contest undefeated at 7-0. The Tar Heels are coming off an 82-76 win over Minnesota on Dec. 1 in Minneapolis, Minn.
Six Tar Heels finished in double figures with Alyssa Ustby leading the way with 19 points and 11 rebounds. Anya Poole also recorded a double-double of 12 points and 16 rebounds.
Ustby is averaging a double-double of 15.4 points and a team-best 10.7 rebounds per game.
Deja Kelly is UNC's leading scorer with 15.7 points per outing.
North Carolina is currently ranked fourth in the country in scoring margin as they outscore their opponents by 31.3 points each game.
The Tar Heels are receiving votes in both the USA Today Coaches Poll and the AP Top 25 Poll.
 SERIES HISTORY
North Carolina leads the all-time series against the Dukes, 1-2.
The first meeting between the two programs was on February 12, 1977 in Charlottesville, Va., where JMU collected their sole win over the Tar Heels, 69-67.
The two teams last met on January 2, 2014 in Chapel Hill. UNC edged the Dukes 74-71.
