Charlottesville, Va. – Three James Madison swimmers competed in the Saturday portion of the Cavalier Invite on Saturday, Feb. 6.
Sophomore
Karen Siddoway and junior
Jordyn Schnell represented the Dukes in the 200-yard freestyle prelims. Siddoway placed 10
th with a time of 1:56.18, shaving two seconds off her seed time. Schnell placed 12
th with a time of 1:58.16.
Sophomore
Devan Taylor competed in the 100-yard breaststroke prelims placing sixth with a time 1:07.51. Her finish time was a second faster than her seed time.
Later in the day, the three Dukes competed in the 50 free timed trails. Schnell finished with a time of 24.38, Siddoway in 24.96 and Taylor in 25.28.
Schnell and Siddoway will return for the final day of the Cavalier Invite along with fellow Duke
Jill Santiago. The prelims will begin at 10 a.m. and finals start at 4 p.m.
