CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The James Madison track & field team had a successful weekend at the Hurricane Alumni Invitational hosted by the University of Miami.
DAY ONE HIGHLIGHTS

Jaiden Martellucci threw for 153' 7" (46.48m) in the hammer throw to move up to sixth on the Dukes' all-time top 10 list.
- In the pole vault,
Erica Moolman finished sixth with her jump of 3.77m to move up to second on JMU's all-time list.

Alex Kwasnik finished sixth in the high jump with her mark of 5" 5.75' (1.67m) to rank sixth on the all-time top 10 list.

DAY TWO HIGHLIGHTS

Shelby Staib finished sixth in the javelin with her throw of 147' 6" (44.96m).
- In the 100m hurdles,
Jordyn Henderson finished fifth with her time of 13.83. She now ties for second on Dukes' all-time top 10 list in the event.

Sofia Lavreshina finished seventh in the 400mH with her time of 1:01.21.
- In the triple jump,
Jordan Venning recorded a personal-best jump of 38' 4.75" (11.70m).

Bethany Biggi racked up 4,547 points in the heptathlon to finish sixth in the event and rank sixth on the all-time top 10 list for the Dukes. Biggi finished second in the javelin (127' 10" / 38.96m), tied for fifth in the high jump (5' 3" / 1.60m) and finished fourth in the 800m (2:25.81). with a throw of 127' 10" (38.96m).

Erin Babashak improved upon her career-best heptathlon score with her seventh-place mark of 4,440. She sits at eighth on the all-time list in the event.
- The 4x400m relay squad of

Dardlie Lefevre,
Virginia Keys and Lavreshina finished eighth with their time of 3:52.72.

DALTON EBANKS INVITE HIGHLIGHTS
- The Dukes' distance squad competed at the Dalton Ebanks Invite on Saturday evening at the George Mason Stadium.

Maddy Hesler finished fourth in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 11:29.17.
- In the 1500m,
Miranda Stanhope clocked a personal-best time of 4:34.91 to finish fifth.

Jessica Cantrell recorded a personal best 18:13.28 in the 5000m.
