BOWLING GREEN, FL. – Nick Schlickenrieder finished inside the top-10 and James Madison men's golf finished tied for eighth at the Streamsong Invitational Wednesday.

Schlickenrieder finished tied for 10
th of 60 competitors with a three-round score of seven-under 212 (73-68-71) to pace the Dukes on the par-73, 7,320 Streamsong Resort. His five-under 68 on Tuesday tied his previous career-low round, which he set previously during the Intercollegiate at Innisbrook on Oct. 28, 2019.

As a team, JMU finished tied for eighth out of 12 teams, with an aggregate score of 867 (290-285-292).

Daniel Cheng (217, -2) and sophomore
Václav Tichý (218, -1) finished just outside the top 25 for JMU. Cheng (72-72-73) tied for 27
th, while Tichy (72-72-74) finished tied for 30
th.

Suneil Peruvemba and
Kyle Kushnir rounded out the Dukes' contingent in the sunshine state. Peruvemba (74-73-76) managed a 40th-place finish while Kushnir (73-77-74) came in a tie for 42
nd, one stroke behind him.

Kennesaw State captured the team title with a three-day total of 845 (-31), five strokes ahead of Elon (-26).
