Malaysha Ferguson was promoted to Assistant Director of Fan Engagement in December of 2022 after joining the Dukes as a Fan Engagement Assistant in July 2022.
She serves as the primary marketing contact for the Volleyball and Softball programs, setting the game day atmosphere and contributing to the overall fan experience at these events.
Prior to JMU, Ferguson has previously worked in Ticket Sales with the Nashville Sounds where she helped drive sales to lead the Sounds to have the highest attendance in Minor League Baseball for 2021.
Ferguson is a graduate of Radford University, earning her Bachelor of Science in Sport Administration in 2021. While attending Radford University, she worked as a Marketing & Ticket Sales intern for two years to help promote the overall gameday experience and increase ticket sales.
