The best piece of advice I've received is to just keep trying, to do your best and to never give up.
I chose to come to JMU because it has the right mix of academic and athletic opportunities for me.
My favorite non-track/cross country memories all have to do with people on the track/cross country team.
My favorite track/cross country memory is in high school regions senior year. We won the 4x8 and set a school/meet record for the second year in a row and no one thought/expected us to do it.
Something about me that would surprise people is how different I am once you get to know me and when I crack out of my shell.
The accomplishment of which I am proudest is graduating high school, getting into all of the colleges I applied to, getting an academic scholarship and being able to run at the collegiate level.
My favorite thing about track and field/cross country is the team aspect and the team itself.
