HARRISONBURG, Va., March 31, 2011 - The James Madison track and field team will be in action this Friday and Saturday at two separate meets, as the Dukes will compete in the Colonial Relays and the Liberty Collegiate Invitational.
The Colonial Relays, hosted by William and Mary, will pit 18 JMU student-athletes against teams from the Northeast Conference, Big East, Atlantic 10, Atlantic Coast Conference and three other Colonial Athletic Association squads.
The action from inside Zable Stadium will begin at 9 a.m. both days and live results will be available through Half-Mile Timing.
In Lynchburg, the Dukes will have its multi-event athlete and four throwers compete at the Liberty Collegiate Invitational. JMU is one of 32 teams set to compete at the event, and will be joined by conference-foe Towson.
The meet will begin at 1 p.m. Friday, and Saturday's action will resume at 9 a.m. from the Matthes-Hopkins Track Complex. Liberty will provide live results of the meet through libertyflames.com.
