HARRISONBURG, Va. – The James Madison University women's soccer program is celebrating its 25th season this year and, as part of that, has named its 25th Anniversary squad. JMUSports.com will have a breakdown by position throughout the season, leading up to the Alumni Weekend on Oct. 24-25 in Harrisonburg.
"I am delighted to announce the 25th anniversary team honorees," Head Coach Dave Lombardo said. "There have been so many strong players over the 25 years of JMU Women's Soccer that I can tell you, it was very difficult to narrow it down to just these few. The players selected to this team all had an important role in the collective successes of JMU Women's soccer over the years. They were influential in the signature moments that elevated JMU women's soccer to national prominence with NCAA wins and CAA championships so it's only right that they get their full recognition for their efforts."
JMU will celebrate the women's soccer anniversary with a home game against William & Mary on October 24 at 7 p.m., at University Park, as well as a luncheon on Saturday, October 25 at 12:30 p.m., at the Bridgeforth Stadium Club Room. To register for the events, follow this link.
