JMU retakes the courts on Sunday, Jan. 31, as the Dukes open Colonial Athletic Association action at Towson at 1:30 p.m.
QUOTING HEAD COACH JAMES BRYCE "Today, we showed that we can compete with anyone. We came out with great energy and fight in singles and gave ourselves a good chance. I think the fact that this was our first match and Maryland's third was a factor in third sets. In doubles, we need to start better and not get in an early hole. Rebecca played great today and deserved her two wins. We need to rebound and look to improve in some areas for Towson tomorrow."
