Dukes Named CSCAA Scholar All-America Team

RICHMOND, Va. – The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America has named the James Madison swimming & diving team a Scholar All-America Team.

"Coach Pedersen demonstrates that a team can be successful in the pool AND the classroom," said CSCAA Executive Director Greg Earhart. These 32 women are some of the best ambassadors that James Madison and the CAA could ask for."

The Dukes earned a 3.4 team cumulative GPA during the Fall 2021 semester, as a total of 17 student-athletes earned Dean's and President's List accolades. The team is now qualified to be eligible for the Intercollegiate Coach Association Coalition All-Sport Academic Standings, due to having a GPA of 3.3 or higher.

This is the 17th consecutive semester JMU has been named a Scholar All-America Team by CSCAA.
