ANNAPOLIS, Md. – James Madison swimming wrapped up its two-day affair at the ECAC Open Championships on Sunday as seven swimmers competed at Lejeune Hall on the campus of the United States Naval Academy.

Saturday saw a quartet of Dukes record lifetime best times led by
Suzanne Earnshaw, who recorded two. Earnshaw swam a time of 58.54 in the 100 Back and a time of 58.60 in the 100 Fly.
Abby Maguire and
Jordyn Schnell also recorded lifetime bests in the 100 Fly, swimming times of 56.95 and 56.37, respectively.
Angela Ritchie clocked in at 1:51.84 in the 200 Free.

Alex Volk recorded a time of 1:51.22 in the 200 Free to be the fifth fastest qualifier in the prelims.
Erin Jachym swam a time of 58.90 in the 100 Back prelims.

On Sunday, Earnshaw and Maguire both achieved additional lifetime bests. Earnshaw clocked a 2:06.31 in the 200 Back while Maguire recorded a time of 10:06.40 in her 1000 split and a time of 16:47.90 in the 1650 Free. Maguire's times moved her up the ladder in the program's top 10 times, hosting the third spot in the 1000 and fourth in the 1650 Free.
Jess Pryne recorded a time of 2:18.19 in the 200 Breast for a lifetime best time and the ninth fastest in program history.

Jachym took eighth in the 200 Back finals with a time of 2:07.79

Maddie Yager will head to West Virginia where they will compete in the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships on March 6-8. The swimmers who recorded NCAA B-cut times at the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association Championships will see if they qualified for the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships.
