2013: CAA Commissioner's Academic Award...JMU Athletic Director Scholar-Athlete
High School: Played cornerback and running back for Nottoway and Coach Grayson Throckmorton... Was named All-District at running back his senior year after garnering All-Region honors his junior year... Also earned Honorable Mention All-District at cornerback his sophomore year... Was a two-sport standout, as garnered All-State and All-Region honors as a track sprinter... Finished third at the 2012 state meet in the 100 meters after winning the regional title... Won the state indoor title his junior year in the 55 meters and was named All-State for both indoor and outdoor track... Placed fourth in the 100 meters outdoor at the state meet his junior year after coming in as the regional champion... Was the district champion in 2011 in the 55 meters, 100 meters and high jump... Also a member of the National Honor Society.
